The Spirou Park opened its doors in June 2018 in Monteux near Avignon (Vaucluse)! This new amusement park transports visitors to the world of comic book heroes, those of the albums of Spirou & Fantasio (Spirou, Fantasio, Marsupilami, Zorglub, spip, Le Comte de Champignac, etc.) but also of the Journal de Spirou (Lucky Luke, Gaston Lagaffe, Les Dalton…).
The first phase of this recreation project will cover 4.5 hectares, about 15 attractions in 2018, then the addition of new ones each year, with extensions in 2020 and 2022.

With an area of 4.7 hectares, Wave Island is eco-friendly and is 17 km from Avignon, accessible directly from the train stations of Avignon, Carpentras and with direct access from the motorway exit Avignon Nord to the park.

Unique, it offers the largest slow river in Europe and the largest surf simulator in the world.
Welcomed by mascots, the public can enjoy multiple activities:
A complex with new thrill slides:

•    Family attractions for young and old
•    A river adventure accessible to people with reduced mobility
•    Playground dedicated to children of all ages.
•    Wake lake for wakeboard sessions

And of course catering spaces (table service with a capacity of 250 places, in fast catering formula with 250 places, in mobile outlets)
